Speed...I am Speed

We went to MGM - or as it is now officially called, Disney Hollywood Studios. This was the first time he has seen Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater there. The line was really long and nowhere near anything shaded or cool but he HAD to wait. Normally when he inisists on waiting on the long lines to meet the characters we get to the front and he doesn't want to go near them. I was just really hopeful that i didnt wait in line all that time to have to send him kicking and screaming to get a picture. Luckily he was excited to "meet them"

We went to Uncle Bill and Aunt Amy's house on Saturday. Matthew was very excited to see them and "the doggies" he was also very happy to play Uncle Bill's electronic drums. I have already warned Uncle Bill that we dont have any room for drums but he insits that there is always room for drums.

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Bill, Matthew and I went to Sea World for my birthday. it was better than any present to see him enjoy himself so much. The sharks were his favorite. How's that for irony? We had to go through it twice.

Vacation!!

We had a camping vacation. Originally we intended to just go to Jetty park for a few days and then to another campground but we were having so much fun that we decided to stay for the whole time. The weather was nice most of the time and Matthew loved being on the beach and going fishing. He spent alot of time practicing his casting. He also made a new friend who was camping next to us. They played together all the time and wore each other out. We all had a wonderfully realxing time and can't wait to go back...SOON

there are raccons that are on the pier every evening. One night they got brave and came too close for comfort. I think Matthew's PBJ enticed one
